Concord launched on August 23 2024 at $39.99. Firewalk and PlayStation took it offline on September 6 and issued refunds. Steam's recorded peak was 697 concurrent players. Official unit sales were never published.

Kotaku, citing two people familiar with the agreement, reported that Concord's initial development deal was just over $200 million and did not cover the full development cycle, Sony's purchase of Firewalk, Concord IP, or marketing. IGN repeated that reporting. Total cost was not disclosed.

Hermen Hulst told PlayStation staff on October 29 2024 that Concord would be permanently sunset and Firewalk would close. The PvP shooter market, he wrote, is competitive, and Concord did not hit Sony's targets.
